Thunder The Covers proudly presents 'Tis The Season (Christmas Is Such A Cliché). This is the Instrumental and Dynamic Edition. What Exactly does that mean? WELL, it basically has the audio dynamic of a vinyl (and the lead singing tracks have been removed). The track has been mastered but has had the final component removed. That magic 'make it louder' (Limiter) tool has been removed, so when you plug in your expensive hi-fi and crank that amplifier, boy does it sound a million times better and cleaner than the Commercial Master! Basically the overall level of the track is technically quieter but it preserves all the dynamics of the careful mix that took weeks of hard labor. Listening to this version over the 'Commercial Master' Version, you will feel the kick drum, you will note every nuance of the guitar tone, and you will quite clearly witness the sleigh bells. Why not buy both versions and compare which you prefer? if you're comparing, try to listen to them both so that they sound the same level, like turn down the commercial master a little. See what you think.
We wanted to record a Christmas song that we ourselves would listen to. Weeks and weeks of time has been poured into this project, we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed writing it. It didn't come easy though. We really started over analyzing what a Christmas song was, and in the end decided comedy was the only route.
Every penny spent on this song will go to a charity associated with the Syria Crisis. It didn't feel right trying to claim money from people for our own cash pile when this crisis is going on over there. Open your pockets and pay however much more you want :)
